Flip na Carmichael Gallery of Contemporary Art

Carmichael Gallery of Contemporary Art is proud to present Seiva Bruta, the first West Coast solo exhibition of work by Brazilian artist Flip. Artwork featured in the exhibition will include acrylic, ink and mixed media on wood, canvas, and paper as well as a site specific installation. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, March 5th, 2009 from 7.00pm - 10.00pm with Flip in attendance. The exhibition will be open for viewing through Thursday, March 26th, 2009 from 1.00pm - 7.00pm.

About the Artist:
A member of the renowned artist collective Famiglia Baglione, Felipe "Flip" Yung is widely hailed as one of the most talented Brazilian artists of his generation. He has painted and exhibited his work throughout the streets and galleries of Brazil, Europe, and the US for over a decade.

MSC Musica - Live painting and show at the sea

No inicio do mes de fevereiro, eu e a crew 'Famiglia Baglione' estivemos neste navio maravilhoso para participar do I Brasil Fashion Cruise, onde montamos uma exposicao com todos os artistas da Famiglia (Walter Nomura, Herbert Baglione, Flavio Samelo, Felipe Yung, Thais Beltrame, Sesper e Andre Monteiro) alem de realizar alguns live paintings e realizar um editorial de moda para a revista Luxe.
Foi uma semana inteira de intensa movimentacao, curticao e muita gente bonita unindo Arte, Moda e Musica Eletronica num cruzeiro que para mim, inesquecivel !
Obrigado a galera da Dream Makers, que idealizaram e realizaram esse evento.

At the beggining of the February's month, me and the 'Famiglia Baglione's' crew had been on this wonderfull ship to take part of the I Brasil Fashion Cruise, where we did one show with all the Famiglia's artists (Walter Nomura, Herbert Baglione, Flavio Samelo, Felipe Yung, Thais Beltrame, Sesper e Andre Monteiro) moreover we did some live paintings and make a fashion editorial to the Luxe's magazine.
It was a hole week with an intense agenda, fun and a lot of beautifull people joining Art, Fashion and Eletronic Music at one cruise that was for me, unforgettable !
Thanx for the Dream Makers' crew, who idealized and made this event real !

Bull of the year 2008 - Congratulations, brazilian team !

Parabens a equipe brasileira que ganhou o Bull of the Year 2008.
O premio Bull of the Year é uma competicao interna da Red Bull, que premia a melhor equipe da Red Bull no mundo inteiro e que teve como vencedora a equipe brasileira neste ano de 2008.
Estes shapes fizeram parte desta premiacao. Criados exclusivamente para a equipe Red Bull do Brasil, e tem uma serie numerada e assinada pelos artistas(Tinho, Sesper e Flavio Samelo). No caso o shape feito por mim, teve uma serie de 50 copias.

Congratulations to the brasilian team who win the Bull of the Year 2008.
The Bull of the Year's award is a internal competition of Red Bull and award prize to the best Red Bull's team around the world and in this year 2008 had as a winner the brazilian team.
These decks were part of the award. Developed exclusively to the Red Bull's team from Brasil they are all signed and numbered by the artists(Tinho, Sesper e Flavio Samelo). My one had a serie of 50 pieces.
