Estou aqui em Lima participando do evento Latido Americano. Um encontro de Graffiti basicamente para os grafiteiros Latino Americanos, porem, com participacao de artistas de outras partes do Mundo tambem.
O evento eh organizado pela crew DMJC e ja esta na 3a edicao.
Nesta edicao estao sendo pintados os muros das estacoes de Metro: San Juan e Maria Auxiliadora, alem de outros muros no Centro de Lima.
Todos os artistas ganharam um kit de tinta local chamada 'Knauf'. Uma tinta dificil que utiliza bico femea, demora a secar e cujo pigmento se mistura ao pigmento da camada de tinta de baixo, alem de escorrer com muita facilidade.
Esta sendo um grande desafio a todos Os artistas q estao acostumados com tintas desenvolvidas especialmente para se fazer graffiti.

I'm here in Lima making part of the 'Latido Americano'. It is a graffiti meeting, basically to the Latin American artists, but with artists from other countries around the world.
Organized by members from DMJC crew it is in the 3rd edition.
This time the walls on painting are from the metro stations: San Juan and Maria Auxiliadora.
All the artists won a kit of local spraypaints called 'Knauf'. It is a hard painting to work with. Used with female caps, slow dry, very dripping and that mix with the downing layers of painting.
It is a great challenge to all the artists who are used to work with nice paintings made specially to make graffiti.
